Designing connections, energizing change

This past November, I had the privilege of collaborating with AdEPorto—the Porto Energy Agency—on an exciting project that wove together design, storytelling, and purpose. Tasked with redesigning their presentation slides for their 35th General Assembly, I found myself delving into much more than fonts and layouts.

With their steadfast mission of promoting energy sustainability and environmental responsibility, AdEPorto stands as a beacon for innovation and good practices in the Porto Metropolitan Area and beyond. Their work spans over 990 km², touching the lives of countless citizens and fostering a more sustainable future for all. It was an honor to partner with them at such a pivotal moment.

Beyond the slides themselves, we took time to rethink their visual identity—reimagining how the agency’s energy and vision could come to life through design. With a focus on clean lines and cohesive storytelling, the redesign aimed to reflect AdEPorto’s role as a connector of people, places, and ideas in the realm of sustainable energy.

I’m deeply grateful to Rui Pimenta, Executive Board Member at AdEPorto, and his team for their trust and collaboration throughout this project. Their dedication to meaningful change was evident in every step we took together.

As we wrapped up the project, I couldn’t help but reflect on AdEPorto’s motto: “to create bonds with energy.” It feels fitting not only for their work but also for the spirit of our collaboration—a reminder of how design, when done thoughtfully, can deepen connections and amplify impact.

Here’s to the energy we share, the stories we tell, and the sustainable future we continue to build.
